$100,000 Damage in House Fire

An East Bunbury home received more than $100,000 damage when it caught fire in the early hours of Monday morning.

Firefighters were called to the blaze by a neighbour just before 2.30am.

The cause of the fire is unconfirmed but is suspected to be an electrical fault.

The home suffered extensive smoke and water damage in the blaze.

The fire was confined to the kitchen and the bedroom and was extinguished at 3am.

The residents were not home at the time.
