A broken water pipe above the conference room spilled gallons of water into the building located at 20 S. Limestone Street.
On Monday, baseboards were still off the walls, desks and filing cabinets in the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce were elevated with small blocks and fans were set up every few feet throughout the main floor.
Building co-owner Chris Simonton says the damage was mostly contained to the Chamber of Commerce and it appears there were no structural elements affected by the flooding. "I don't think there's any structural damage," he said.
