Ottis Hawkins called 3 On Your Side for help.
Hawkins says her house has never flooded but with heavy rain Wednesday, she came home to water overflowing inside almost every room.
A pool of water surrounded her house on Pampas Circle off Savannah.
Hawkins tells us she believes there is a problem with the city system and now she is not able to sleep in her bedroom, or use her bathroom and has to decide what she will do next.
"I've been you know calling them telling them about the problem that's outside," Hawkins said. "They came and checked and they still didn't do nothing. And now its backing up in my house, the yard and everything. So I just want them to come out here and do something about it."
WLBT News received emails and calls Wednesday night from other homeowners in South Jackson who say they have similar problems.
Along with the flood water some say sewage is being washed into their homes.
