Cleveland: Ronald McDonald House in need of decorations
CLEVELAND -- Mother Nature did some damage to
the holiday decorations at the Ronald McDonald
House, but it appears social media might save the
day.
The group's holiday decorations were ruined by
water damage in an outdoor shed.
So the group decided to put out a plea for
decorations via Twitter and Facebook and the
phones began ringing almost instantly with local
folks who wanted to help.
The Ronald McDonald House usually has 10 to 12
Christmas trees and is hopeful to have at least that
many donated to help decorate for this year's
holidays.
The group can only accept new items and is asking
for pre-lit artificial trees, wreathes, and other
decorations.
