Buffalo firefighters worked for more than three hours Monday night fighting a blaze at an East Side house, according to Buffalo fire officials. The 2 1/2-story house on Ivy Street between Walden Avenue and Genesee Street, burst into flames at about 7:30.
The owner of the Schiller Park house was at work at the time of the fire, and fire officials said no one was injured during the blaze.
Officials estimated the fire caused $75,000 damage.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation late Monday, firefighters said.
