FIREFIGHTERS are laying down sandbags to divert flood water after a pipe burst in Crouch Hill this morning.
The fractured water flooded part of the road at around 9.30am, and is believed to have sent some water into a nearby church and a shop.
The firefighters on the scene are channeling the water away from premises and the water company have been called to repair the damage to the broken pipe.
